I'm in the middle of verifying the RC, but I'm inclined agree with Lars due
to the severity of the issue and the fact that folks would need to wait ~a
month.
Unless we pushed ahead and then did a shortened vote for 0.98.10.1?

I think we should sink this and include HBASE-12782, followed by a shortened
voting cycle.

I dropped offline early yesterday to drive up to central Cali for the weekend
and missed all of the excitement on HBASE-12782.
I will put up a new RC by Monday with a vote that closes Wednesday. If a couple
PMC can help me out by voting on it quickly it will be fine.
Withdrawn because of HBASE-12782, another RC coming up shortly, with an
abbreviated voting period.
