Thanks, Larry, for moving those JIRAs out. One of the two pending items belongs to me and I already resolved it. Let's wait until the only one is resolved and then I'm going to create the branch point tag as well as the new v1.6.0 branch and proceed with the release (including documentation).

All - I've moved all 1.6.0 fixVersion JIRAs out to 2.0.0 but 2 that need to be resolved as either fixed or moved out to 2.0.0. Again, any critical issues for 1.6.0 that were moved out can be moved back with justification and a PR for the patch. If we decide we need a patch release on 1.6.0

One of the first things we need to do is start moving out JIRAs tagged for 1.6.0 to 1.7.0 or 2.0 that just aren't going to make it in. I will start this process over the weekend. Anyone that wants to make sure that we get certain JIRAs in 1.6.0 please update with a comment to that effect. Also,
