tanding the "ISO mapping ca-XV"
bit for isolang.cxx though.
I originally had:
{ LANGUAGE_USER_CATALAN_VALENCIAN, "ca", "XV" }, //
Temporary, while variants aren't supported (target locale:
[EMAIL PROTECTED])
But I suspect this is not the way to do it
mething else, please excuse me.
Thanks in advance,

Right, this sounds like a real mess. Luckily we don't want to get into
this pit. :)
Thanks Eike!

le for Valencian-Catalan.
- I guess there'll be an easy way to make OOo use this locale if the
system's locale is "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" (ie doing a [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> ca_XV
mapping somewhere)
If Jesús or the OOo team doesn't have strong arguments a
[EMAIL PROTECTED] system
locale at execution time (in Linux), that would be a start, until OOo
gets variant support.

Yes, Ivo told me about a year ago, and warned me that this would

I named the locale definition file "ca_ES-valencia.xml", but again I'm
not sure that's going to be grokked by OOo.
But is this going to work at all?
Any help I can get here will be fantastic.

Actually, we never were in disagreement; Jesús just wanted to emphasize

penOffice.org locale would
look like "ca-ES-valencia".
- Language name: "Valencian-Catalan" as shown here, with the hyphen.
- We have no Microsoft locale ID. Catalan's is 0403/1027.
- Script: Should be plain Latin script, exactly the same used by the
standard Catalan.

Erdal, are those two modules missing from y
Hello,
Last year I worked on a Valencian adaptation of the Catalan OOo strings
for OpenOffice 1.1.3.
For this, I built a new language from scratch, using the Catalan
strings, adapting them to the Valencian variety and adding a new full
language.
I wonder if there's another way of doing this. Doe
