If Tycho use of Sirefire is the driving force behind that pull request,
I would like to see end-to-end demo/proof-of-concept that show how
adding OSGi headers to Surefire helps. I don't believe Tycho itself will
benefit from this any, but the problem appears to be specific to redhat
repackaged
to be sure of the result at ASF.

Hi,
Is it coincidence if we accept SUREFIRE pull request ?
https://github.com/apache/maven-surefire/pull/73
Do we plan OSGi Headers in Maven core?
Is there any side effect of these headers with Maven core or anything else?
Should we keep this PR open or close it?
Cheers,
Tibor

Hello,
did you notice, that with Java 8 all Maven versions will print Dos
instead of Windows as the OS Familiy of an (german) Win7 (x64) system:
mvn -v
Apache Maven 3.2.5 (12a6b3acb947671f09b81f49094c53f426d8cea1;
2014-12-14T18:29:23+01:00)
Maven home: C:\devenv\apache-maven-3.2.5
Java version:
Jason,
this is not the Codehaus username we need: this is the ASF Jira username
I had a look: if you don't update your email at ASF Jira [1] to match the
email at Codehaus, there will be a new account created at ASF = jason-haus
(since jason is already used [3] )
Regards,
Hervé

What is the reason for some committers to add the third column?
