I had some trouble with the stage plugin and the release, but I think it's all fine now. (First it died with java.lang.ClassCastException: org.apache.maven.wagon.providers.ssh.jsch.ScpWagon, and I switched from Maven 2.0.9 to 2.0.10-RC5 since it worked with that for the deploy plugin last week.

It's time to release the War Plugin. Thanks to Benjamin and Olivier for removing all the snapshot dependencies to make this possible! We discussed making this release beta-1 or even 2.1, but with all the recent changes around filtering I decided to stay with alpha-2. Trunk is now beta-1, and we
