The shared-impl is not really available in source. It's part of the

not be released. I wrote a small wiki page on [1] about shared.

Yeah, I think I saw that. Now that myFaces is starting to get a number
of very elaborate sub-projects, there is no real reason that we should
have to keep re-inventing the wheel. Yet I can certainly respect
wanting to keep the API package strictly JSF.

Hi!
As some of you might know I've developed Faces Freeway [1].
Well, I don't want to say that this project failed, but - beside - its
hard to maintain a documentation, it is also hard to provide a nice
looking, always working fully fledged simple way to the persistence
framework e.g. hibernate.

Bernd,
Very cool. We were looking at doing something similar in the fileUpload
thing in Trinidad. Looks like you beat us to it. I have 2 questions:
First, is there any chance the FacesContextFactory and FacesContext
implementation can either be added to the base MyFaces implementation or
sure, why not, but have [1] in mind

Adding a dependency to your pom is much nicer.

Hi!

The name of the component could also be: freewayGui

Ok, that's good to hear. Slimming down generators is always a good idea.
I'm not sure about the name for the component - you want to reuse the
logo for the component? I think it should only express what the
component is about, not what it's for...
