I could have asked Patrik for a PR first, which I then would have approved on
GitHub and pushed the "merge" button on.
My personal policy is to do everything through GitHub PRs, except trivial
changes in code that I originally wrote myself. (I wrote the SVG loader module
in this case.)

I'm also seeing this with the downloaded netbeans-12.0-beta1-bin.zip
Win7,jdk-13; the repo build also failed with jdk1.8

The inability to delete app.xml from

File permissions appear to be the same between my directory structures

Hi there,
I made an Hello Word index.jsp to try Tomcat with Netbeans (12 Beta).
All went good and fine.
I am learning Java, so as soon I make another projects I will keep you updated.
Again, thank you, very, very much.

I use the “corretto” build of JDK11 - it’s what Amazon uses on its production
servers, so it’s heavily QAd. If you have homebrew

You could try with 12.0-beta 1 and let us know if that works for you:

Hi,
We build NB platform applications that shall run on 8 LTS. In our industry,
it is not easy to upgrade to 8+. No problem to move ahead as long
compatibility whith 8 is preserved.

Hi all,
Started 12.0-beta 1, creating Java with Maven | Java Application, "Finding
Feature" appears, then message "Errors encountered obtaining update
information", and then listed are:
netbeans.apache.org/nb/plugins/12.0/updates.xml.gz?unique=xyz
I don’t suppose this could be a matter of classpath/path settings causing
erratic behavior could it?
Could there be/have been conflicting (different versions) Gradle daemons
running?

we have sevarsl build pipelines in place, that demonstrate that netbeans can be
build from source.
Without logs we can only guess. Run
ant 2>&1 | tee build.log
That should get you a log

I am trying to build NetBeans following its README.md on Fedora 31 and

I tried building with Java 8 and Java 11. I tried Dcluster.config=full and
Dcluster.config=php with no success.
Is there anything I should setup to build it. Also, I don't see any build
