proposed dates and it’s gonna be the 22.10.-24.10.2024 which is actually 12
days after Community over Code NA … so possibly it could work for you guys,
right?

I think many people could be interested in participating, but I'm afraid
about the dates because you think it could be 4 weeks before Apache
Community Over Code NA that is supposed to happen October 7-10, 2024 in
Denver, CO.
It will be very close to our VI NuttX International
If someone can post with a consensus/decision once there is one, it
would be most useful!

We’re still in the phase of discussing, if we should do this. It only makes
sense to continue planning, if there is enough interest from the Apache side.

I was contacted by some of my friends in the IoT Space at the Eclipse
Foundation.
They are planning this year's EclipseCon to work closer together with the other
foundations in this space and proposed an Apache IoT Track in paralel to the
EclipseCon. This will be happening in Mainz

As per usual, the obvious escaped me - a character driver makes sense of
course. I will implement this, for now, as a board-specific driver and
when its working, and I have time, I will look at transitioning it to be
a generic NuttX driver.
