Just a few minutes/hours, staging works so you can verify you dont break
the page and also keep the content moderated. There is a different script
to push your moderations to publish.

My simplest recomendation is to keep a stable and a 'bleeding edge'
version. That way you can use a stable for really long, complex
documents and a bleeding edge for simpler documents.
