I have finally got around to actually trying out the new release and I
found that the security hole has been closed AND my use case below is
still supported

I updated the GuiceObjectFactory code to handle the changes that were
made to XWork and Struts 2 object loading in 2.0.8. I have the code in
the Vertigo-Java project if folks want to take a look and include it in

What do you think about adding this to SmartURLs? SmartURLs is an update
to the zero-config and code-behind plugins and I think eventually it
might be rolled back into core. As long as we make it pluggable and
don't force a dependency on Groovy in order to use SmartURLs, it could
work p
