In our extreme case this actually made things worse. On 30s cpu profiles,
although mallocgc reduced from 27.13s to 26.30s, the byte
dependabot[bot] closed pull request #2923: Bump com.ncorti.ktfmt.gradle from
0.12.0 to 0.17.0 in /lib/kotlin
