Sounds good to me. I can't really help much though. The sad reality is that while i still have a great big soft spot for Velocity, and i'm willing to chime in here and there, i don't have the time to do any notable work. My employer no longer uses server-side templating at all, so i can't hack

Should we publish the 2.0 in less than ten years, it'd be great to upgrade not only the site content, but also its design (quite outdated) and building tool (ditto). Many apache projects are migrating towards the ASF CMS [1], and why not follow the flow? Claude [1]
