The problem with Wicket 7 example might be the amount of heap size which by default is 256 mb (see https://forums.openshift.com/javalangoutofmemory-on-simple-app). I've run top command on server few times in these last days and the memory used by java was always between 150 and 200 mb.

Hi David, Silver account would cost $20/month. I guess you mean Bronze account. In both cases a credit card is required. For Bronze you need to pay for the usage of some resources. The Free plan seems to work fine so far. Martin Grigorov Wicket Training and Consulting

Hi All I really appreciate all the services that are run especially things like the examples. If you need a free gear that is on all the time the Silver account will give you that with out any costs. You get up to 3 free gears which means the site is up all the time. THanks On 22 December 2015

Yes, I guess so. It runs on the free tier and they shut down the app if it is not used for some time. Then when someone tries to use it it is started and takes some time to start. To see the logs one have to use a command line tool - 'rhc'. It is a bit inconvenient for me because I have other
