Ah... new status. Recently deleted, in a "holding" pattern for 30 days before release. Allows a registrar (for an exorbitant fee) to undelete the domain name. -- Charles Daminato Life is not holding a good hand; OpenSRS Product Manager Life is playing a poor hand well.

My suggestion would be to start seperating it out. While it will work like .com/.net for the first little while, PIR/Afilias is planning to migrate .org to a thick/EPP based registry model, so it will start working more like .info/.biz -- Charles Daminato Life is not holding a go

I'm trying to install the latest version on a virtual server. No help from the ISP, but been able to install the easy modules by simply placing the files in /lib. I'm left with Unicode:String and XML:Parser that won't work. Does anyone know a way of installing these modules without any root acce

Simon, Some webhosting company (specially virtual hosting) won't allow you to install modules. Check their term of service (TOS). Be patient to them and send them another request. Regards, Emil. www.needname.com www.myID.biz > I'm trying to install the latest version on a virtual server. > > No

Thanks everyone for your ideas. Unfortunately, they all seem to rely on having some sort of access to a command prompt. The virtual servers I use have NO SSH, telnet, prompt, shell access, root access, nothing! I think that's why it's so tricky! I'm looking for an 'extra' host I think that does

Hi, You don't need root access, and you ISP shouldn't install those modules to be available for all of their virtual hosts if they don't need them. You can simply create a directory where you can and then instead just "perl Makefile.pl" do "perl Makefile.pl PREFIX=/home/blabla/youraccount/dir" T
