sending those data over a GSM modem without any problem.

This is very odd. I am able to send to Voicestream from the Cingular GSM
network and I was able to send an SMS from Cingular to a UK phone number. I

I'm trying to get a operator logo installed on to a Pac*Belll /
Cingular PCS phone (nokia phone). The logo is correctly installed but
when saved, it doesnt appear. Sounds like the network/country code is
wrong.
The one I used is 13F071 which is county code 310 network code 17.

Voicestream as a network (to the best of my knowledge) doesn't accept in
coming SMSs from any other carrier. This may change with their recent
partnerships with other companies, however our Voicestream system in the US
only works that way at the moment.
