The easiest way to do this might be to do queue management outside Kannel itself and interface your queue with Kannel either using membox or customize sqlbox and build in queuing capbailities into it, and have a simple round robbin algorithm which could take into consideration user priorities.

I pulled the latest version of Kannel from CVS and I'm getting this error when sending to particular SMSC's. Failed to convert string from UTF-8 to GSM - probably broken type names. Take a look at the PDU trace below.

Destination address problem with 1.4.1

Hi , I have two versions of Kannel . 1.4.0 and 1.4.1 on two different servers with exactly the same conf file. When I run the server with 1.4.0 and text a keyword to a shortcode I don’t get an error. When I run the server with 1.4.1 and send the exact same message, I get feedback from the SMSC

Sending and receiving SMS on J2ME

Thanks Stipe, This was really needed. I was wondering if you had thought of supporting HTTP POST and supporting XML based gateways in 'generic'. This could be done by Adding an extra parameter to the group called url-template which would point to a config file and read the XML template
