Here is a little experiment I encourage you to do, with gtk 4.18 or 4.19.1 (the one thats currently in rawhide): 1) run gtk4-demo (or any simple gtk4 app or your choice) 2 ) cat /proc/$(pidof gtk4-demo)/maps | grep gst 3) report on what you see -- ___
