Thanks, Luis.
I just orphaned both python-biopython and sqlite2 so you can go ahead
and take ownership via PkgDB (I added myself as a co-maintainer for
both packages before orphaning).
Cheers,

ooolatex needs to be replaced by TeXMaths anyway, see:

In general, going forward at least for the immediate
future, I will have to ramp down some of my Fedora efforts.
In the meantime feel free to update any of my packages
if you're provenpack
Note that I'm retiring from F-19 onwards.

This package is currently causing broken deps in any case.
It's not very useful without perl-bioperl, see my previous
post, which has seen been removed:
https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/devel/2012-November/174435.html
Hopefully somebody else can pick these packages up (including

Hi there,
As I don't use this package much anymore, I am dropping back to
co-maintainership
and orphaning dblatex to let somebody else be the primary owner, see:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/dblatex
It's a pretty minimal package in terms of maintenance, mainly

Hi there,
I don't use BioPerl nearly as much as I used to, so I'm looking
for a new maintainer for perl-bioperl and some other related packages,
e.g. perl-Bio-Graphics.
PackageDB links here:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/perl-bioperl
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls
Pkgdb link:
https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/acls/name/bibus
I kept myself on as a co-maintainer, but it deserves a more
proactive main owner.

I don't really use it anymore (replaced it with Zotero) and don't
have time to maintain it, but it is still being developed upstream
(as of late 2011):
http://sourceforge.net/projects/bibus-biblio/
There is a 1.5.2 release available, see also:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=757675
Don't currently use, don't have time to maintain it, feel free
to take it (I kept myself as co-maintainer to help out the
transition):

Hi Kalev,
(Cc'ed to devel list to see if anybody else has suggestions).
As you've noted libgnomeuimm has been obsoleted in f16 and higher, and
referencer doesn't look like it's ported to use anything else. I filed
a bug in what appears to be a (potentially) active (but slow) upstream
to get some

Hi there,
Looks like mapnik has been bumped from 0.7 to 2.0 upstream:
http://mapnik.org/news/2011/sep/26/release_2_0/
I am rebuilding mapnik in rawhide to fix broken deps, and I
was wondering if any maintainers of mapnik-dependent packages
had any opinions on whether updating to 2.0 would have a

I'll take dblatex. Doesn't seem to be orphaned in pkgdb yet, though.

Hi there,
I'm the Miro maintainer and the new xulrunner/firefox API bump causes a

I am retiring the evolution-brutus, it currently FTBFS against the
current evolution and upstream is effectively dead, for more details

I have asked rel-eng to block the package:
