This may not always be guaranteed to be true, but I've noticed that the
"older Flash plugin" removed by Adobe's Flash RPM is Gnash, with the
uninstall done via a rather crude method (move the Netscape-style plugin
library & repackage).

Can you check if Flash is working and Gnash (the XO's free alternative to
Flash) is uninstalled?
If Flash is working on the 1.5, you should be able to view YouTube videos.
If you haven't uninstalled Gnash, which can interfere with Flash, it's
described in the same article on the wiki
