you don't say what your host OS is, but my first attempt earlier this
week to update a Windows installation bugged out with a missing
Emulator VM.
I did a complete deinstall of the whole Sailfish SDK, reinstalled,
then ran the update. The second run was flawless.

We have not tested with OpenSUSE at all, but let's start cracking it:
- what is VirtualBox version you have?
- was emulator running when you ran update?
There is a file InstallationLog.txt in ~/SailfishOS , can you please send it
here?

But that is not to be found, instead it should be:
I used SDKMaintenancetool -v command to update sdk,it report no update

I found the setFlags but all it seems to do is it hide the window
completely (both window cover).
