d3fault, after seeing all your posts in this list it is clear that your aim
might be well aimed but is more obstructive than constructive. There is no lack
of unavoidable obstacles in the road to Qt 5 launch and we really don't need
any more - especially if they can be avoided.

Hi, we are producing the videos of the Qt Contributors Summit and we need
URGENTLY the names of all the speakers taking part in recorded sessions at the
Galerie room. This includes everybody sitting in a panel or doing a demo.
Please add the names to the wiki page program at
Below you can find the email just sent to the [Marketing] list to begin the
planning of the Qt 5 launch. If you want to contribute with demos, code
examples and other materials please join that list. We won't be cross-posting
here (except for exceptional exceptions). :)
Who is the third party in that case?
The third party at http://qt.nokia.com/forms/summit-signup is Nokia. Sorry for
not being more explicit in the first place.

Ok. The system we have now was discussed and agreed in the [Marketing] list in
a thread that lasted several days followed by a wait of more days until the
Alpha was released. It's a system that works, takes little time to manage and

Alright, forget all this. Let me arrive at home and change the wiki page.
I will start by asking people to send me an email with those fields. Any
improvement from that lowest point is welcome.

Qt WebKit counts just like any other Qt module. In case of doubt get an
indication or invitation from the module maintainers.

Thank you for the list of modules. Can I do the following changes to the wiki?
1. Move the list of modules at
http://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt_5.0#66036ddf6d03c9ce1fc742741417f128 to two new
pages:
- Qt Essential Modules
- Qt Add-on Modules
Hi, here you have the list of essential add-on modules going to the Qt 5
alpha release:
http://qt-project.org/wiki/Qt-5-Alpha
I have tried to find information about these modules in the wiki and the Qt 5
snapshot docs, with mixed results:

Forwarding to the [Development] list since all the Qt 5 maintainers are here.
Please check the alpha release marketing proposal and provide the info
pointers related to your module. Thank you!

It would be great if May 28 - 30 would be good enough for everybody. These are
the only dates available at BCC, which is a perfect venue for us.
Please answer urgently. Thank you for all your feedback!

Doh, forgot the little detail that by the ebd of May is very likely that
everybody is in deep Qt 5 bugfixing.
While we keep the search on June... Can you please comment on your preferences
for potential dates in August, early September?

I haven't. Vision Mobile is in fact a serious organization and their reports do
get through the mobile industry. I won't lose a chance to pitch them Qt and the

Since we are a meritocratic organization it is important to know who does what.
Currently it is difficult (if not impossible?) to know the whole picture.
Please help mapping everybody with an official Qt Project role at

Hi Mark,
Where or how can we found out more about Taku?
Please give us a few more days to release everything and explain it at Dev Days
and the wiki. Also note that the contributors of this tiny project are enjoying
some Thanksgiving rest during the rest of the week.
