Hi all,
on my AOS server event log I get the following message (this is
my translation of the German message):
Object Server xyz: SQL diagnostics: Detected SQL-Protocol 's' is not
recommended for Microsoft Business Solutions - Axapta Multiple sessions.
German:
Object Server xyz: SQL
Hi Stefan,
this has nothing to do with unicode - it's just the protocol for SQL which should be only TCP/IP - and not Named Pipes or multiprotocol ;-)

Hi everybody,
I'm very new to axapta and I'm developing some simple applications for
learning purpouses. Now, I created a simple form with a textbox and a
grid, and a simple table with a few fields (among them there is a
string field, called Code). The behavior I'd like to see is that
Try dataSourceName_ds.executeQuery() to refresh the grid.

I have the task of importing data using an XML file. I have done this
before at me previous job, but I cannot recall quite how I did it.
Does anyone of any example of how to read through an XML file?
Thanks.

Hi
I work in a company that uses Baan and Axapta to write Payroll and HR
software. I was writing software and administering Baan on Unix(Baan4)
and AS400 (Baan5). It works perfect. Although it was low level Unix-SCO
Unix and free Bann database: 'Baanbase' we didn't have any problems.
Hi Stefan,
maybe it is not only a problem of the AOS. Have you checked the
Server-Networkconfiguration for which protocolls are activated? Also check the
protocol order in this dialog.
Regards
Andreas Gahr

Thanks, with datasource_ds.research() it worked! I discovered today the _ds meaning! Bye
