Is there a way to take a existing RPM and group together all the files that belong to it into a tar? What I mean is that I have an rpm and I changes to the files inside it, can I take the files that the RPM contains with path etc and send to tar to get the necessary files for me? So for example

There has been some talk about the mod perl indexer replacement, one thing while I think of it that would be a good addition is that of a panel to edit the descriptions.txt file. The idea is as follows, make a panel to edit descriptions.txt that also displays the associated file and file info.
