Charlie, Will USB 2.0 devices work just fine, but at lower speed, on a USB 1.1 bus? I've had no problem connecting USB2.0 HDD's and CDRom drives to USB 1.1 hosts on Apple Mac OS X machines - they just run at the slower speeds. Also FYI - http://www.linux-usb.org/usb2.html all the best
