ok, I used the newest version of the pcmcia-cs sources from sourceforge to try this with - but even tho it should be configured correctly it isn't working starting pcmcia gives an error like this during boot Mar 18 22:35:10 timl network: Bringing up interface eth1: Mar 18 22:35:10 timl kernel

so far I have gotten e-smith 5.1.2 to see the card but it tells me the the wavelan2_cs.o file is missing, which is correct. So I downloaded the source and looked at the dirrections. they go something like this: extract these source files get the pcmcia package from sourceforge get the kernel
