If you have a simple example program that reproduces the problem that would
be great too.
Thanks.

hi. this is a patchish thingy that adds a stream requst servlet to fred,
despite GJ's advice to not do that. I'd send a full patch, but it
seems that cvs.freenet.sourceforge.net is dead, and since I have to go
home from work,i'm just going to add the required changes to make this
thing go.

Hello Freenetters
I've been trying to FEC-encode a large (600MB) file via FCP using build
544 on my Linux box (Sun JRE 1.3.1, 96MB RAM). Previous attempts (with
older builds) caused "out of memory" errors, but now I get an FCP response
that says:
Attempt to write past end of Bucket

Hey people
I seem to be receiving mailings OK again thanks to bdonlan.
I haven’t really been able to do much to the new tiki version of the Freenet website mainly because I’m
suffering from RSI in my right arm. Doing everything with just my left hand is
just too painfully slow to ge

Slashdot reviewed a book (1) named Effective Java (2). I'm reporting it
here as the book might be in some interest for freenet developers.
Also browsing thru the spam known as replies, there was one very
interesting note about Java source code scanner, PMD (3). Dunno if it's
already being used,

Tried the most recent webinstaller for a laugh (it never worked particularly
well for me), and when it said "Execute: NodeConfig.exe" I noticed that it
didn't load NodeConfig at all, instead it launched freenet.
At this point the installer hung.
So I right clicked that rabbit and shut down freene
