I wonder if it may be the 105 net that operates HF packet under full
automatic operation. They have been there for many years and so they start
to think they have a right to the frequency.
I would suggest that it would be very unwise to be sending anyone any e-mail
telling them to stay off a frequ
I have just downloaded latest Multipsk.
Has any frequency been discussed as a monitor frequency for the mode PAX.?

Hi Bonnie,
Actually, you may want to take another look at all of this and chat
with Charles Brain, as to FCC legal, I don't think so, not currently,
but hopefully some day.

Most of us already know about the ALE linking using 8FSK and the

But there is another fast DQPSK modem in PCALE beta that
has not been used much yet by hams!

Hello Rick,
Glad you did an ARQ PAX QSO and TKS for comments.
Some remarks:
* the PAX modulation has a rough speed of 59 wpm. The ARQ protocol must
divide, let's say by 2 the speed. However, you are not obliged to wait for
the answer of the other Ham as the protocol manages a "full-duplex" link
Last night John, N3WT, and I had a PAX Q on 30 meters. The mode is very
similar to using HF packet. It is fairly slow and would not work well for
casual chatting, but I can see where it might be useful for a connected mode
for messaging.
When we did use unproto, you do have to be careful about whe

Hi Jerry,
Just a reminder that your suggested Olivia frequency is not exactly
correct. 14108.5 kHz is only the HIGHEST frequency in a group of
Olivia frequencies, which extend downward in 1kHz increments fr

Hi Andy,
There was so many files flying around about the b17, fixes for the

place the dll right in the MixW folder.
