Gegroet,
Me too, I would be interested in hacking gmfsk (more out of interest of
learning to write digital-mode programs). gmfsk is IMHO a great start
to code new modes instead of writing a complete program by yourself, as
it already has a great GUI and a number of low-level DSP algoritms
So in summary, Winlink PMBOs own all frequencies between 14100.5 and
14112 kHz. If you operate in this range and are QRM'd by a Winlink
PMBO, its your own fault for being uncooperative.
Perhaps now that the FCC has finally tackled K1MAN, they'll address
this latest set of aspiring frequency

I've been watching the bands a lot, and I have not seen any of the
Winlink2000 Pactor PMBO stations
The Domino Ex test contest has received some interest and some requests.
I will proceed with the intended mid-week trial run BUT will also add
20 meters as an additional band. This will increase the maximum times
you can work a station (see initial rules).
There has also been requests to make
Wonderfull! After more than a year off radio, just
scanning the 21MHz band, and amazed on seeing and hearing a strange signal at
this hour on this band, by trial and error I was able to have a good and very
well readable QSO with Arkady, RN6A locator KN95KA at 17:48 UTC.

Wow so many Pactor freq's. Maybe I should run out and by a Pactor

Seems like the automatic modes are taking over, Pactor, Olivia,ALE, it
makes one wonder if there is a agenda going on, and who is getting the
cash.
Just my views.

Actually you gave me an idea. I tried running gMFSK via a remote X
session from my iBook. It seemed to work OK, but the waterfall
display was struggling and the wifi bandwidth utilisation was pretty
high. I'm going to try and get FreeNX running on Ubuntu, and see if
that fares better than
Darren,
Try changing waterfall speed to half, or resize the waterfall (either
time or frequency), or drag another window on top of it...or use VNC as
a client instead of X...have the gMFSK display on a :1 X display and VNC
to that.

Not really.
If you copy the traffic or even listen you will
see a lot of packet also. Along with a hand
full of sound card digital modes.

I was summarizing Bonnie's message, John.
Yes, there are still keyboard-to-keyboard QSOs between 14100.5 and
14112 kHz; Bonnie is doing her best to move them down to 14075-
14078. See, for example
