I have tried changing the resistor values in R1 and R2 and even linked then
out but when WIN 2000 starts to load it appears that
WIN 2000 is taking over the port and shutting it down.
This is not the case as I can still use the same port to control my

My pleasure John. The Reed Solomon ID seems to be very sensitive; more so than
most of the chat modes being used.
Nick and Simon may add RSID to Mixw / DM780 in the future (thanks guys). It
seems to work very well with Fldigi and Multipsk.

I never did like most of the sound card modes because
it was hard for me to figure out what mode I was listening
to.
So far I have many many QSO's on HELL and MT63
And one on PSK 31 with are very own Rick, KV9U from

my stationary pc has +/- 12 and my other pc has +/- 15 volts maybe you
should measure the voltage on your rs232 port
on my homebrewed interface i have only one led in series with the led of the
optocoupler
and it works on 5 volt and on 15 v
