I used (and still hold on to) a MFJ 1278B multi mode controller that also
runs Pactor/Amtor/Packet/RTTY/Fax/WeFax etc. The problem of course that all
of these units came out before we had all these sound card modes. I do have
(somewhere) a update fix to add a switch and couple of other parts,

Yep, PK232 works fine for Amtor and Pactor (with firmware updates). I
tried to sell my PK232 about 5 years ago at a hamfest, I could not get $70
for it ! They are so useful it is best to keep them.
