I used (and still hold on to) a MFJ 1278B multi mode controller that also runs Pactor/Amtor/Packet/RTTY/Fax/WeFax etc. The problem of course that all of these units came out before we had all these sound card modes. I do have (somewhere) a update fix to add a switch and couple of other parts,

My mind was not working when I typed that. Here is a better version of what i meant to say Yep, PK232 works fine for Amtor and Pactor (with firmware updates). I tried to sell my PK232 about 5 years ago at a hamfest, I could not get $70 for it ! They are so useful it is best to keep them.

Dave, to see if you have pactor. at the cmd: prompt type pt it should come back with Opmode was (whatever it's in at the time) Opmode now PACTOR if it does not have pactor it will cam back with ?What? Cmd: Any question feel free to ask. I have had one of these animals since 1987..
