I run my FT-857D and RigBlaster Plus according to the interface manufacturer's advice about settings. For HF digital modes, I set the rig to 5 watts, the ALC to zero, and then adjust soundcard levels until the ALC just begins to move. I have PSK31 and WSPR contacts into Europe from the eastern
