I got most of it going with Win DRM, I got the Xmit and receive OK, we
just got a little confused about the two sound card set-up option. But
essentially all worked well.

A 746Pro can be switched between RX and TX via CI-V commands. I don't
use MixW, but wonder if your friend has it configured properly.
