Yep, that I knew, as I have used this for other types of interfacing
with voice and it worked fine. I did expect some bits and pieces coming
through once in a while from the speakers, but never did hear anything
even though it would light up all the states and even do an MSC lock
for brief
How do you set the mike gain? I am using a standard el cheapo electret
type mike plugged into the computer mike input, but can only guess where
the level should be.
I wish we would pick one frequency and sideband for each band for basic

I am using just the computer's built in sound card. I am not sure if it
is possible to make this work when switching back and forth since
wouldn't you have to switch the recording input from line to mike when
going from receive to transmit?
