something to run via computer, into a regular ssb or am signal. And that is
therefore within topic considering this is a digitalradio group.
Not until sound cards develop a 5MHz bandwidth. Now, I'm sure you can run

I have limited experience with ATV. But I don't
think the 706 will transmit or receive ATV. The bandwidth of an ATV signal is
somewhere around 5MHz. I don't remember the exact frequencies. The distance of
the ATV signal is pretty much line of sight. Our radio club has the setup to
