Dear all,
Since some time I have been playing around with something and I would like
to share it with you to pick your brains. I see it as a thought experiment
and therefore it might seem a little overboard. But nevertheless I would be
very interested in hearing your thoughts on this.

First off: all the best wishes for this new year. Lets make it a usable one.

Some clients (as well as some graphic designers) I work with still talk
about above the fold real estate. They seem to see this as a somewhat
measurable space (in pixels) and tribute a lot of value
Hi all,
I hope you can help me out here. About three years ago I found this
wonderful diagram which put ALL disciplines together that come into play
when developing User Experience (for the web?). I think it was inspired by
the famous diagram by Jesse James.
What did it look like:
- one page
Hi Dan,
Thanks for the link. Although this is an interesting diagram as well, it is
more abstract then the one I'm looking for. Where this diagram talks about
the fields, my missing diagram goes more into detail and talks about roles
or activities from user research to html and css development.

Dear all,
I'll keep it short:
in your company, which role gathers the requirements from the client?
a) project manager makes inventory in the initial meetings and passes them
to the interaction designer
b) project manager and interaction designer both do the initial meetings
together. The
Interaction Designers,
how do you introduce the work you do when you have a social introduction?
Curious regards,

Hi all,
I'm breaking my head on the following for some time now and I hope you have
a fresh look or good experience to share.
*Scenario*
- A user needs to create password (for a new account)
- The password has to comply to two out of three certain rules (certain
length, upper- and/or lowercase
Hi Jens,
thanks for reaction.
Well maybe the word great can be dropped, I added it to make the question
more blackwhite.
For the word without:
I mean to ask if it is possible/works well to just make wireframes (gray and
white blocks) to design and explain the interaction of a digital artifact
Hi all,
in my daily work as an interaction designer I mostly create wireframes and
support the visual designers in their creation of the visual design for
these wireframes.
I notice though, that there is a strong dependency on how/if the interaction
will work and the (eventual) visual design.
Hello all,
I have short question. Do any of you know of any good argumentation for when
to use a 'shopping cart' and when to use a 'shopping basked' (both image
and/or term) in an e-commerce website.
I myself would think that the choice would depend on whether you expect
people to buy a lot
Dear all,
my question is simple in its former but probably less so in its
answer. Therefore I would like to ask you all for input on the
following:

(/user experience) design in a corporate IT
consultancy/developer/implementor
