I am finishing my HCI degree I've been contemplating the idea of
getting some courses in web mining and taking the online courses
offered by UBC in Web Analytics.
My take is that it can only make me more marketable besides the fact
that I find it interesting...Or am I completing deviating?
I'm afraid I'm the worst person to ask about today's programs.I
can think of a few highly regarded ones. Carnegie Mellon is probably
the best, and very design oriented. UC Berkely has the SILS program,
which has a CS history but is good at design process. UC San Diego

Design,Information Architecture, Usablity etc?
Will I have to Master at all of them?
Which schools are recommended in the US for Interaction Design?
How design oriented are they?

Explaining the differences in labels, especially between these two, is
mostly about fine distinctions. Wherever you go, you should try to
learn about all of these areas.
