Sadly not yet. But there is more sadness to it. The code lives in
JGrass and the current uDig version has a library mismatch that
doesn't make the use of netcdf from JGrass possible. We are planning
to solve this for the 1.2.1 release of uDig, but there is no strict
timeline for that right
Just as a note:
There is a recent discussion on the GRASS user list:

I have a version that we used for a course that should have the netcdf
stuff in it, perhaps I could upload it somewhere if you want to try
it?
Sure, would be great.
I think your implementation (blog post) is just great and I'd love to see it
implemented in a development version.
Climate
-based
data sets like Panoply (going forward and backword in time-dependant modelled
spatial data sets easily)?
Thanks in advance,

There are some hacks in there that can output sql or csv if you need something
simpler.
Would you show me such a CSV hack?
What do you think of adding the script to gdal/ogr project?

Not too long ago I did a survey on Metadata-Editors regarding their
ability to extract metadata in a semi-automatic manner. It seems to be
a widely neglected field, with a lot of potential...
CatMDEdit was the most useful editor that I've tested, but in the end it
didn't fulfill the

What can you recommend?

Just seen this from a planet post:
Convertendo coordenadas para decimais
http://www.eustaquiorangel.com/posts/convertendo_coordenadas_para_decimais
All with regex parsing...
I think this could be a good addition to Mateusz Loskot package.
