My experience is that sound card clocks can easily drift by as much as 1ms/s. This means you will hear the offset in less than 30s, especially if the two clocks are drifting in opposite directions or have worse drift. The sync-maintenance code coming in SlimServer 7 should help you out here, but

Ok, so they're not true duplicates - but two different links. What I'm a bit confused by is the fact that both songs play. If you have deleted the songs from your laptop (C:/) as you say, that link shouldn't work when you try to play. It does suggest some kind of playlist or shortcut issue. H

I had also 2x times the tracks in the SqueezeBox. This was due the fact of the CUE file in the same folder. If you have a CUE file in the same folder exclude it from being scanned, this should do the trick. -- jordi.c jor
