The most popular application available is QTFairUse, which automatically
scrubs your m4p's of their DRM infection and re-encodes them on-the-fly,
without audio degradation, to an m4a that can be played on your
Squeezebox.
Google it and enjoy!

Slimpy,
You dah man! That was exactly what I was doing.
Searching by artist and then playing works as I wanted. The problem is
that I have more than one directory of music ... classical and

How do you select an album to be played?
If your files are tagged with TRACKNUMBER and you select the album by
browsing albums or artists then the tracks should play in the same
order as on the CD (unless you have shuffle by songs enabled).
If you select the album by browsing the music folder then
I recently ripped my cd collection to a network drive in the flac

The static IP is a good thought. The PC running Slimserver is already
static, but I'll assign an IP to the SB3 and see if that helps.

The ONLY stuff I buy from iTunes now is on their iTunes PLUS lists.
This is higher quality (256kbps AAC) and NO DRM. SlimServer will play

There have been some applications to strip out the DRM such as JHymn,

You can, however, burn the tracks as an audio CD then re-rip to a

Is there some special setup trick to get my iTunes purchases (mp4's) to
show up on my Squeezebox and play? It's clearly in my iTunes folder on
my computer but it doesn't show up on the Squeezebox's version. Any
help would be greatly appreciated in advance.

Ok, so they're not true duplicates - but two different links.
What I'm a bit confused by is the fact that both songs play. If you
have deleted the songs from your laptop (C:/) as you say, that link

I had also 2x times the tracks in the SqueezeBox. This was due the fact
of the CUE file in the same folder.
If you have a CUE file in the same folder exclude it from being
scanned, this should do the trick.
