SlimServer is about that slow on my machine to. I Have SlimServer installed on a Centrino 1.7GHz, 1GB Laptop with Windows XP. Just installed Slimserver 6.5 a few days ago. Seems like the Mysqld.exe pocess is the problem. Sometimes it uses 100% CPU for a longer period. -- IHSS

There are two ways to go I can think of. There is sort of limited upnp functionality with slimserver that might work with some upnp programs - it sees my orb server for example though doesn't seem to quite work with it properly - you might try a few upnp servers and have reasonable luck Better

I used my SB3 for the first time in several months, and it immediately downloaded a firmware upgrade. The unit hung after the automatic reboot, requiring me to unplug and plug in again. After the unplug, the unit works fine, but will hang periodically. The Information tab shows Player Firmware
