I'm using a Duet and have added many radio stations. This is a great
product that opens a world of music to the user.
One station I'm interested in provides feeds that work with iTunes or
QuickTime. I've been unable to download any link or file that contains
a link. What I can download is a MOV f
I am getting that too...on my SB controller it shows teh song lentgh as
about 11 seconds shorter than wahy it shows in iTunes on my Mac...in
iTunes the song plays right to the end but on the squeezebox it stops
early
I'm going to rescan tonight and see if it helps

Files encoded as apple lossless no longer play with Duet system. I
haven't had any problems previously, and in the meantime I don't know
what I've changed if anything. Certainly nothing on the server has been
changed to my knowledge.

someone needs to build a plugin for Genius...MusicIP is just too
difficult to install for most people...defeats the purpose of having a

I run a Mac and use iTunes to organize my music...it is easy and wife
and kids can enjoy music on computer or on Squeezebox with no messing

as long as the netbook meets the minimum specs for the squeezecenter
software it should be fine, as since your music is flac the software
shouldn't have to encode the music first.
if you get a qnap you can actually install slimserver or squeezecentre
on it so you dont even need a pc running to p

The official word from Last.fm is that we don't need to enforce a skip
limit. I've removed this so you should be able to skip as much as you
like now. :)

I give up with SC 7.2. I've done factory resets on the SB and
Transporter and still have problems with both devices
I've reloaded SC 7.0 and both the SB and the Transporter work just
fine.

OK. I was slightly wrong.
What I did has achieved the desired result for the players ui, but not
for the web ui or the Controller (sbc) ui. I don't care about the web
ui, but unfortunately I do care about the controller ui and it
appears that the inbuilt menu editing facility is not up to doin

Since the update I've been getting this regularly. I've tried resetting

to extract album cover art that has been downloaded from Apple iTunes

I had a similar problem with mine getting a signal strength of less than
20%. I got a Wireless N router for the house as both my laptops have N
cards in them and I now get a 60%+ signal. I know the SB3 is not a N
device but the router is pushing a much stronger signal out.

Problem now resolved, setting exceptions on Avast! for *.myi and *.myt
files did the trick.
Also, there was 1 mp3 file that was throwing the scan off. Never did
find out why, but converting it back to itself - i.e. 256kbs mp3 ro
