[slim] How do you Stop squeezecenter?

This is going to sound idiotic but i cant work out how to stop and restart squeezecenter 7.3.1 on XP. All the plugins require you to do this to install them and that squeezetray has an option to stop squeezecenter but i dont have that option. I have exit (which just closes the tray afaik), open

Start Control Panel Administrative Tools Services; locate SqueezeCenter and stop/start from here or Run the Startup Options applet that installs in SqueezeCenter program group. It will restart SC. -- Apesbrain

still not working? Did a total reinstall of 7.3.1 and then alienBBC and still cannot play any radio stations through squeezecentre? This is very weird, could this be a firewall problem? not really sure given the fact that music is ok, and raio through SN is fine. -- Gibbo

I currently have Ipeng running on an ipod touch with a couple of SB receivers. I like ipeng more than the SB controller so I'd like to sell the SB controller and use Ipeng exclusively. But I don't know how I would add new SB receivers in the future. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this

Since you are running Linux I think the first thing you should do is run top and check on the resources of the hpt5720. I am not clear on your set up, but if the pen (aka flash memory) drive is your disk drive (if that is possible) and you are swapping out, you may severely impact

[slim] SB track progress bar remains blank

So after many hours playing around I've found a reference in the log file to BBC iplayer when I was trying to play a radio stream that most definately wasn't a BBC one, disabling the iplayer plugin seems to have cleared up the problem, although I've had to modify all my radio links that go
