Yes that's correct. Album gain is used when playing a whole album, all tracks are set to a single gain value unchanged between tracks. Track album is used when playing in random mix, on each track gain is adjusted. -- badbob -

I'm running SC7.3.2 on Ubuntu server. I've downloaded the latest SqueezePlay for 7.3 on my Mac. When I select Music Source, SqPlay sees my server but isn't able to connect, justs asks if I want to try again. Any thoughts? -- spc337

The problem definitely seems to be time related. I reset the server so it was at the correct time but it took a while before the time on the squeezebox2 matched (the squeezebox seemed to be ok). Once the times matched then playing a track was perfectly in sync. Is there some reason why the squeeze

They don't really get time from anywhere. They have a free running 1kHZ clock (jiffies) that starts at 0 on boot. SC tracks the jiffies epoch relative it its time. It assumes that the SC host (server) time is stable. -- awy ---
