Judging from these reviews, trouble with the router doesn't really seem
uncommon:

That'd be a pretty straightforward task for a plugin. Have you asked Max
if he might consider it for the Other Players plugin? Home > Other
Players > Turn all players off ?

Okay I've been using my Squeezebox for a few weeks now and I got iPeng

Hi,
This is anika. I am newly join this is site. its very useful to
others.i completed my graduation and i start a new business but i have
some problems because i started new so i can not any experience so how
to improve my business with less expenditure and which business is good

Yes that's correct.
Album gain is used when playing a whole album, all tracks are set to a
single gain value unchanged between tracks.
Track album is used when playing in random mix, on each track gain is
adjusted.

Thank you, that's exactly what I was after. I don't want the program to
alter the audio file, so the foobar solution works exactly what I'm
after.
Question though, what's the difference between album and track replay
gain? What I did so far, I showed all the songs from my entire library
in foob

I'm running SC7.3.2 on Ubuntu server. I've downloaded the latest
SqueezePlay for 7.3 on my Mac. When I select Music Source, SqPlay sees
my server but isn't able to connect, justs asks if I want to try again.
Any thoughts?

The problem definitely seems to be time related. I reset the server so
it was at the correct time but it took a while before the time on the
squeezebox2 matched (the squeezebox seemed to be ok). Once the times
matched then playing a track was perfectly in sync. Is there some
reason why the squeeze

Thanks vinnielo, can you keep us informed of any progress you make with
GMG Radio?

They don't really get time from anywhere. They have a free running 1kHZ
clock (jiffies) that starts at 0 on boot. SC tracks the jiffies epoch
relative it its time. It assumes that the SC host (server) time is
stable.

Time seems to be the problem, the squeezeboxes don't seem to be getting
the time from the server. Is it possible that the time comes from a
time server rather than SqueezeCenter?

Hello,
Just my two cents since I have 3 players (Duet, SB3 and Boom) and have
been confused and mixed up a couple of times trying to sync players.
It gets really confusing when using the SBC to control all of the
devices, bouncing back and forth selecting which device to control and
then trying

Glad to see you got it sorted out. Fwiw, once all my album art was
scrambled on the SBC, and I ssh'd into the SBC looking for the
thumbnail cache and never found
Alan,
I know you've done great work in getting sync to work reliably.
However what's still needed is an Apple style UI which makes it easy
for the user to understand what they are about to do. The underlying
complexity should be hidden and have the UI and players work
differently makes it hard
Thanks! That clears up a lot.
I'm still not sure which playlist is retained when you start out with
nothing synced and initially sync 2 players that each have a different
playlist, but I can experiment more to figure that out now that I have
better understanding of it all.

I let it do a clear and rescan last night and now the singles are no
longer showing that wrong cover art.

Probably the best way to think about thisat the moment (don't flame me
about how it should work - I'm just trying to explain a way of thinking
about how it does work) is as follows.
- There exist sync-groups.
- A playlist belongs to a sync-group.
- Every player belongs to exactly one sync-gr
Yes, logs please. player.source=info, player.sync=debug,

verbose.

It does appear to be a recent problem. Previously synching SB2 to Duet
worked OK with my setup. However
