finally had some success, so I thought I'd outline the steps I took if

Do you have any "ARTISTSORT" tags?
That can be used to, for example, cause "named" artists to sort by last
name (Eric Clapton could have ARTISTSORT = "Clapton, Eric" whereby he
gets sorted in the "C's" instead of "E's").
I believe that if ANY tracks of a particular artist has an ARTISTSORT
tag set

Yeah, same thing with our local PC World, they had a lone SB classic on
display (away from the ipod section) and although they stock Booms too,
there were none on display, just a few stacked on the shelf below the
display unit - so you wouldn't see them unless you were looking for

You don't need to click anything, the SB3 will show this fault message
after wol, but it will fix itself after the SC machine is up just wait
a couple of minutes.
It's how it works for me anyway, SB3 issues wol ,sb3 flashes fault msg,
sb3 display goes dark, sb3 conects and show the normal menu.

I think the issue is MusicInfo and AlienBBC and perhaps ALienBBC didn't
clear down some info.
Since you are in the UK, you will get better audio quality ( MP3 for
Listen Again and WMA for live ) links if you use the BBCiPlayer
plugin. Also since both are SB3 native formats you shouldn't get th

Yeah in the UK. I play it from the AlienBBC-Live Streams Menu. Ive
restarted squeezecenter and my players, and changed a couple of other
settings and it seems to be ok now, probably just some cache needed
emptying? Slightly puzzled as to why it happened and the info from
Napster didnt get displaye

If you mean buffering or stuttering, yes. But these are usually due to
the source stream and/or their servicing provider (like Live365 or
ShoutCast) having issues. But these are rare occurrences.
