Not what your lookong for but I stuck a bunch egrips on mine. Makes it less likely to slip out of hand, or off my lap. Also protects it from getting scratched up. I put couple on the back and on the sides. -- mswlogo XP > Cat5 > Transporter/DuetController > SPDIF > Meridian G68 > DSP6000, DSP5

If one can get it to factory reset , can one use the NET-UDAP perl script for setup ? I saw somewhere that this would work for all players not only the receiver ? Worth the effort to try anyway. -- Mnyb Mnyb's Profile: ht

The points ModelCitizen makes are the exact points I was about to make. The fact the SB has a pre-amp makes it perfectly reasonable to aspire to balance and tone controls, both of which I've wished I had, although balance would be a much bigger want. R. -- RonM ---

Hopefully, it's just the screen. If you enable logging you might see the protocol negotiation with the player. Without being able to establish a connection with the server, this might be your only evidence that the device is alive. Go to Settings > Advanced > Logging, and setting network.protoc

I usually agree with your comments, Moonbase, but not this time. SB products are simply sound sources. CD players, tuners, turntables, etc also are sound sources, and don't typically have such adjustments. I don't personally think that adding such features would have a positive effect on sales.
