Just found another bug (which was probably in earlier versions also). I
have some CD's for my kids with the genre 'Children's Music'. This genre
doesn't display in the quickref or the Album Catalog.

I'll shut up in a minute ;-D. One enhancement request. Would it be
possible to have an option to not display the Artist Name in compilation
albums if that name is actually 'Various Artists'? I have some albums
where the artist is not known (typically my Children's Music) and the
display would

Will be solved as will you're 'various artist'
That is great. I created some bookmarks on the radiotuna website, but it
was not showing me the currently playing song... is it working for you?
I am not sure they actually poll up to the minute for their metatdata,
it looks like they are storing data as people tune in or something like
that. Not

Hi Chunkywizard,
Thx for the feedback. Credits by the way for resolving the sorting

Just to let you know the fix works great,
I've been using a single core Atom for my server for several months
now.
I have not experienced any performance problems with several separate
streams being served simultaneously.

No problem. Can you provide me with an example of a time cli command
from ipeng
Or if that strikes you as messy, create a new folder and put links to
as many folders as you need in there.

I've been using a single core Atom for about a year now. It's more or
less the same MSI Wind barebones box that the Vortexbox Appliance is
based on. It works fine for serving music to 7-8 SBs -- I haven't tried
more than that yet. Still, the dual core is probably only $10-15 more,
so I would go
Is there any way (plugin?) to delete an mp3 file (physically, from the
hard disc of the server) from the controller? I have a massive folder of
music I got from a friend and I hate some of the songs but I'm too lazy
to listen to the entire folder on my desktop. I'd rather just grab the

No, the Squeezebox server never writes to your music library.
But you can zap a song while listening (press and hold + on the IR
remote, no idea which key does that on the Controller) which creates a
file called zapped.m3u in your playlist directory. You can then
inspect that file on your
The controller doesn't seem to do this. When I hit the '+' button it
brings up a menu asking me to choose amongst some other options.

I see it's listed as a current product on Logitech's site but, I
