I downloaded 7.4.2 (which I know you said did not help you) but I also
did a software AND hardware reset and it seemed to correct the problem
99% of the time.

Considering there is only a handful of developers left on Squeezebox, I
doubt if this is seen as a priority in Logitech.
Maybe the third party devlopers may wish to pick this up, although with
all the name and feature changes it will be a lot of work.

Nice!... but as others have said, the gadget takes a little bit too much
horizontal (valuable) desktop space. It would be nice if the control
buttons could collapse under the gadget while still showing the Album
art and track info while the music is playing. Hovering over or clicking
on the gadget

That URL was from the Squeezeserver BBC App, so maybe they need to
update that. Odd though, that outdated one seems to be working now.

Cleared out my cache and reviewed all the plug ins - disabling some I
was not using, and rebooted, and the channels are working. Hard to say

I have tried both digital and analogue - but its the same. The SB is
connected directly to my receiver, so nothing unusual.
