There is an option to turn off settings synchronisation. I've had it disabled

The old rule of thumb was that for each 6db of digital attenuation one
lost 6 db of resolution. I believe that no longer holds with devices
that are processing 16 bit data with an internal resolution that is
higher (i.e. 20 or more bits). I have a squeezebox 3 and use the digital

The SB3 uses a 24-bit internal implementation for it's level control.
Provided you keep the volume fairly high you shoudn't notice too much
loss of resolution.

Hi,
Is there anyway (using plugin or similar) to browse your local SBS

Would be most excellent if it was possible. Any ideas?

I think this issue is getting out of hand.
The basis for the post is a single e-mail from support telling sublemon

Hi,
my SB3 has recently started to distort really bad when the volume is
turned high up. I have NO idea why. Here are the relevant facts (that I
can think of):
-No transcoding, crossfading etc.
-Distortion occurs on flac and mp3.
-Duet and TP on same network does not do this.
-Started to occur

No, for browsing you have to look at them separately. It is perfectly

Receiver is also available from Amazon.co.uk for £106 ($145).
Also note that SB Classic is currently available from Amazon.de for €150 or
