I'm a long time owner of three SB3 and one Transporter but this is my
first post. I've searched and found a couple threads pertaining to
ground-loop problems but none of the suggestions have help so I'm
wondering if I just need to get my Transporter serviced.
I'm currently using my Marantz

This is a pretty standard feature of the Android equivalents, e.g.
Squeeze Controller.

Well guys, I've just hooked up the stock SB3 wirelessly, changed no
settings at all in SBS, queued up the 96/24 flac album and .. it
plays!
So, it seems Mnyb was correct, the Bolder mods dramatically improve
playback sound quality but remove the capability to play 96/24 files and

Make sure:
- that you have gone through the setup and told the receiver that you

- try the Hall or Matrix setting which is supposed to be similar to
Dolby Pro-Logic
- if still nothing, try analog cables from the SB instead of optical

your AVR has that takes 2.0 digital audio and processes it to 5.1
These DSP's can be applied to *any* digital audio input (Digital Coax,

Standard Dolby 5.1 won't do this because it is relying on 2 ch audio

That's correct, it's the same VFD (x2), and as of now, the TP has not
been discontinued. The decision makes sense to me, because there is a
ready substitute (the Touch with LCD screen) for the mainstream market,
although obviously the timing on that transition hasn't worked out
according to plan.

It doesn't look like the Transporter is being canceled..
The Transporter is a low volume product.
The Classic is high volumne and the display has been EOL'd by its
manufacturer.

I've using PlaylistCreator3. When in Itunes select all the tracks in the
playlist and drag over to PlaylistCreator. Will then do the job for you.
The only other thing I had to do was open the file in notepad and
replace M:\ with \\qmultimedia\music for my NAS.
Hope this helps.

Hi...
Just received notification through AndyG that the bug that prevented
the SKY FM stations from showing up under the app has been fixed. And I
can verify that, at least on my Duet, that it has indeed been fixed.
All stations now show..
Thanks Andy and whomever else was responsible.

You should try the SyncOptions plugin (or iPeng, of course :) ).
Why?? SyncOption doesn't deal with volume. It is a small plugin that
has a few extensions for synchronisation.

Apple allows Simplify Media to stream flacs, etc from a home server to
be played on the iPhone.
What would be different for iPeng (which I use and really like)?

This isn't about streaming but about downloading music to the device.
Streaming is fine, downloading is verboten.
Hm, maybe I'm missing something and it was a beta. Will check.
I DO have a SyncOptions plugin that syncs volume and I had some
discussion (and changes) with Peter on how to make this compatible with
iPeng's volume syncing.
