OK, I downloaded and installed Foobar2000. It indicated that Flac 1.2 was required so I downloaded and installed Flac 1.2 (Foobar failed on the conversions and I found that it was using an older flac.exe in my c:\windows\system32 fold so I replaced that with the new one from program files\flac

You need to engage Dolby ProLogic (Dolby PL, Dolby PLII) or whatever DSP your AVR has that takes 2.0 digital audio and processes it to 5.1 These DSP's can be applied to *any* digital audio input (Digital Coax, Digital Optical) Standard Dolby 5.1 won't do this because it is relying on 2 ch audio

That's correct, it's the same VFD (x2), and as of now, the TP has not been discontinued. The decision makes sense to me, because there is a ready substitute (the Touch with LCD screen) for the mainstream market, although obviously the timing on that transition hasn't worked out according to plan.

I've using PlaylistCreator3. When in Itunes select all the tracks in the playlist and drag over to PlaylistCreator. Will then do the job for you. The only other thing I had to do was open the file in notepad and replace M:\ with \\qmultimedia\music for my NAS. Hope this helps. -- padzster

There is an error on the webpage. Clicking on the second SlimControl in Action produces nothing but a notification of an Error on page -- Muele BR Mogens 1 Radio, 2 Controllers, 2 Receivers, 1 Squeezeplay. Served by an old 800 mhz IBM T21 Thinkpad.
