I forgot to ask... How are you using Winamp to listen across the
internet? If you're using /stream.mp3 then you must use LAME
transcoding. Stream.mp3 won't stream FLAC and there's no comparable
stream.flac.
If that's the case you must have LAME installed and then set up bitrate
limiting for the

Hi all,
I want to convert my music collection to FLAC. Using MP3 now. I listen
to the MP3s at work streaming through Winamp and works fine. I ripped a
CD to FLAC using EAC and I rescanned my music library to the folder
where the FLAC files are. They play fine at home, but when I tried to

Hi,
I'm running my SB Radio with SBS 7.52, and I like to listen to
audiobooks a lot.
Is there a way to bookmark the current position? When I turn off the
radio, and use the alarm to wake me up, or decide to listen to some
music, the current playlist is lost.
How do you manage to resume onthe ex

Apparently there is no issue. I am now able to select the server and it
finds my player. Previously, it was only showing the server IP address
instead of the name, and when I tried to select the server , it would
not find the player. Not sure what I did to correct the issue. In any
case, all i
So what happens if you select that server? What exactly is the issue?
You are aware that iPeng always has to be connected to the same server
as your player to be able to control it?

see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com

Thanks for the quick reply pippin. Attached is a screenshot of the
MutliPlayer screen. Lycidas is the name of the server that is running
SqueezeServer. Let me know if you need any more info.

So you CAN control your player with iPeng when it's on MySqueezebox.com
The if you switch the player to your Squeezebox Server and you also
switch iPeng to your local server you can NOT see the player?
That's weird? I've never seen that one.
One issue that DOES happen, especially with 3G iPod tou
OK... here are the bones of it:
1) You will need a LM317T chip (the type in a TO220 package).
Fortunately these are cheap and easily available.
2) You will also need a small clip-on heat sink for the LM317T.
3) When you have the above, unsolder Q3 from the circuit board and
remove.
4) The LM31
I am having a similar issue. When I try to connect to my SqueezeServer
instance w/ iPeng, it is unable to find my player. I can connect to my
server via my duet controller, and can control the player via the
server's web interface. If I change the music source of the player to

Thanks Adam_F. Had a look and couldn't see a crack in the line. No
repair from logitech either. So, before the bin, I'm willing to give
anything a shot. Can you spare the time and send me the quick and
dirty fix for the CPU supply? Thanks in advance.

Depends on the app. For example I think Mail is much better in
landscape, because I have several mailboxes.
I also prefer the larger keyboard in landscape.
For reading, surfing portrait is usually better IMH
I think this is related to the generally poor performance of the SQL
database that is at the core of the server. It seems to me that the
database was originally created when it ran on Pentium III's with 128

The issue is that the 1.2V supply to the CPU is shutting down soon after
power on. Judging by the measurements you took the most likely causes in
my view would be:

which opens up when things start to warm up. It would be wort

Hi
for those of you looking for Spotify support (and who like me are on a

Beta Plug in initially developed for windows also works on Linux and

Have installed it, not yet tested

Here are my measurements at Q3 when the screen is on.
Left side (L4 side) - 2.71V
Middle - 1.18V
Right side - 4.61V
I also measure 1.2V at C49 side of the inductor L4 when the screen is
on.
When the screen goes off:
Left side (L4 side) - 5.11V
Middle - 0V
Right side - 5.11V
11.9mV at C49 side
Interesting. I've got the Apple case, too but mainly use that to have it
really stand upright, both in Landscape and portrait mode.
I also use landscape with e.g. mail but I thought so far that's mainly
because that overlay mail list sucks.
But Erland is probably right, it's about what you do. I
Since I got the Apple case I'm using it landscape all the time.
