Only (insignificant) glitch is that when I stop playing music there is

This is a very good idea. I like this feature which is the only thing
missing in our systems compared to having the physical CDs with us.
Particularly interesting in classical music I think.

Hello fellow squeezers,
Something has changed with squeezeboxserver 7.5.1 that is quite
annoying.
The alarm has been set to play BBC iPlayer radio 4 stream quite happily
for ages. But recently it will not work - it defaults to the backup
alarm instead.
This only seems to affect BBC iPlayer -
The BBC Radio 4 stream seems to be fairly fragile at the moment, often
taking a long time to start and sometimes glitching and burbling. I
would suspect that it is issues at the BBC end that are causing the
stream to not start fast enough and lead to having to sound the
fallback alarm, rather
Thanks - that would make sense.
There must be a config setting/hack to prevent the backup alarm from
kicking in too soon. Any ideas?
Am sure this used to work just fine - would it be worth updating the
iPlayer plugins?

It is always worth updating the iPlayer plugin, there are regular fixes
to deal with changes that the BBC make.

Yes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze
The BBC were doing a big changeover at the weekend and iPlayer service
was unavailable for a time.
It's possible that some BBC URLs have changed and the old URLs are
still cached by SBS.

Goto the WebUI Settings/Plugins page you used to install the plugin. If
there is an update available it will be shown in a list before all the
other plugins. Check the box, click Apply and SBS will be restarted.
